We held a Manga lesson for begginer in 2023/10/25.
The vistors are from Bermuda🇧🇲
They were a group of three, father, mother and their child experienced our lesson.
We had a short lecture about why Manga is so popular in Japan, and explained what life was like for a Manga artists.

Creating original character
They combined simple shapes to create original characters!
It was interesting to see how the characters created were completely different from each other, even though they were just using simple shapes.
Let’s draw famous character!
We had a lecture how to drew Picachu in this class.
Anyone can easily draw Pikachu with a few key points actually!
After the clean-up drawing with a G-pen,
Using brush pens for solid coloring and screen tones for cheeks, they were able to create authentic characters!
All the Pikachu they drew are very good!
They traveled over 20 hours to Japan for the first time and I hope this workshop will be part of their wonderful memories of their trip!!
