We are excited to share that MANGA DOJO TOKYO participated in the official Stranger Things Season 5 event, hosted by Netflix.
As part of this special activation, we provided a unique Japanese manga-style experience for influencers and guests.

Live Manga Drawing by Professional Artist Kazuo Maekawa

For this event, our lead manga artist Kazuo Maekawa (known for Ace Attorney) created original illustrations of iconic Stranger Things monsters, all rendered in authentic Japanese manga style.

Guests were invited to join the creative process by:

Adding dialogue and sound effects
Helping complete manga panels
Watching professional live-drawing demonstrations up close

The venue filled with excitement — especially when the cast members arrived, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

A Special Collaboration Between Manga Culture & Global Entertainment

This event showcased how Japanese manga techniques can blend with Western pop culture, creating a new form of storytelling and fan engagement.
We are honored that Netflix invited us to be part of this major global franchise event.
