At MANGA DOJO TOKYO, we plan and organize workshops led by professional manga artists, allowing event visitors to experience manga creation firsthand.
Our workshops can be customized for a wide range of events — from corporate gatherings and international exchange programs to anime and comic conventions.
Workshops can be held both in Japan and overseas, with full support from our experienced instructors and staff.

🇺🇸Spirit of Japan (Miami, USA)
MANGA DOJO TOKYO participated in Spirit of Japan, an international cultural exchange event that celebrates both Japan’s traditional and pop culture.
Our lead instructor, Kazuo Maekawa (manga artist of Ace Attorney), joined the event and guided attendees through a hands-on manga drawing experience.
🌺 Honolulu Festival (Hawaii, USA)
Kazuo Maekawa also represented MANGA DOJO TOKYO at the Honolulu Festival.
At our booth, he drew manga-style portrait illustrations on shikishi boards as gifts, which were very popular among visitors.
Guests of all ages — from children to adults — also enjoyed creating their own 4-panel manga at our workshop corner.
🇳🇱 Comic Con Holland 2024 (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
We exhibited at Comic Con Holland 2024, where visitors could have their portraits drawn in manga style within 30 seconds by professional manga artists.
This interactive experience attracted a large number of overseas fans who enjoyed discovering the creativity and fun of Japanese manga culture.
🇪🇸⚽️ Tokyo Real Betis Week (Tokyo, Japan)
At MANGA DOJO TOKYO, we collaborated with the Spanish soccer club Real Betis for their Tokyo event, Real Betis Week, by organizing a Manga Cover Art Contest.
The contest featured four professional manga artists and four students from a manga art college, each creating an original cover illustration inspired by the team’s spirit.
The winning artwork was introduced on the club’s official channels and displayed at the Real Betis stadium in Spain.
