Operation of Manga Dojo Tokyo
We manage Manga Dojo Tokyo, a cultural experience space located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Our workshops are led by professional manga artists and include:

Achievements
2023 | Manga Workshop on a familiarization trip organized by Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau
As a familiarization trip for Asia Meeting planners,our workshop was held by a professional manga artist.
Participants learned how to use professional pens and inks, designed characters, and applied screen tones.
The manga artist was Kazuo Maekawa, whose best-known work is Ace Attorney.
Interpretation will be provided for the workshop.
2025 | Personalized Entertainment / Manga Portrait by Manga Artist
Commissioned by the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, we hosted a caricature workshop led by a professional manga artist as part of a cultural experience program.
At a corporate farewell event for a major Spanish manufacturer’s incentive group, we welcomed 250 international guests with personalized manga-style caricatures drawn live by our artists — a unique and memorable Japanese hospitality experience.
2025 | Manga x Football event: Real Betis Cover Art Contest at Manga Dojo Tokyo
Commissioned by Real Betis, we organized a manga-style cover art contest featuring the team’s players, hosted at Manga Dojo Tokyo.
The contest attracted participants ranging from students at manga art schools to professional illustrators.
The winning artwork will be displayed at the Real Betis stadium in Spain, offering a unique cultural bridge through manga and sports.
2025 | Manga × Drama: Stranger Things Season 5 Collaboration Event (Netflix)
MANGA DOJO TOKYO hosted a special manga workshop at the Stranger Things Season 5 event organized by Netflix in Tokyo.
Professional manga artist Kazuo Maekawa created original illustrations of the show’s monsters in authentic Japanese manga style, while participants experienced the creative process by adding dialogue, sound effects, and finishing touches to the panels.
With cast members also visiting the venue, the event generated great excitement and became a unique moment where Japanese manga culture and a world-renowned global drama series came together.
