Anime Creation Workshop – Learn from a Professional Animator

In this hands-on 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the process of anime creation directly from a professional animator who runs their own animation studio.

What You’ll learn

Learn the flow of anime production (storyboarding, key animation, in-between frames)

Experience how to animate character movement (in-betweening practice)

Hands-on digital training: work with pen tablets & PCs using CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX

Age requirement: 15+

Take home your own animation: create a short, simple animation of your original character and receive the data file.

Duration: 2 hours

No experience required — the instructor will guide you step by step!
※but there is an age requirement 15+.

About the Instructor

Your teacher is a working professional animator with years of experience in TV series and movie production such as My hero academia , Lupin the third and more.
You’ll hear real behind-the-scenes stories and learn essential animation techniques straight from the industry.

Very insightful experience, I did the animation course by myself and there was never a point where I felt bored or uninterested in what Maekawa Sensei and Aki were teaching me. What I loved the most was actually looking through real anime storyboards, animation cells, and genga. I’d say to get the most out of this experience come with some questions prepared for Maekawa Sensei regarding the anime industry, materials for getting into animation, or how to take care of your health as an animator since this is a very rare opportunity to talk to an industry professional directly.
